 I would like to thank everyone who has given so generously to the Chuck Margiotta
Scholarship Fund. All of you, both locally and across the country, are the reason Chuck’s
memory lives on. The 2013 BRAINS, BRAWN, BRAVERY, Motorcycle Event was our biggest event
thus far. It was a perfect day for riding! Over 300 motorcycles rode to honor Lt. Chuck Margiotta,
and another 150 non-riders, came to make donations and enjoy the food, music and good feelings of the day.
For
the 3rd year in a row, our opening ceremonies began with a performance by American Idol Alumni & recording artist, Brielle
Von Hugel. Those who attended were treated to spectacular food, which included meatball
and sausage & pepper subs, 6 ft. chicken cutlet sandwiches, pizza, rice balls, garlic knots, burgers and hot dogs.
Once again, DJ Chris Ortiz pumped out Classic Rock throughout the event.
With your
support, the Chuck Margiotta Scholarship Fund has thus far, awarded over $70,000 in scholarship assistance. In addition,
the scholarship fund has helped families devastated by Hurricane Sandy. It is my job
to make sure the motorcycle event is something you look forward to each year. I hope you had fun this
year, and I look forward to seeing you all again next year.
